Well, I have not been able to upload pictures because I can't find our camera. As soon as I find it, because I will find it, we will have some new posts. Dang, I hate losing things!

One last post before I go to bed

Brianna's First Fourth of July!!
We had a great time at Jimmy and Diana's for Brianna's first Fourth of July. She was such a good baby and had so much fun playing in the water. She almost made it to the fireworks, but fell asleep 15 minutes before they started in her Daddy's arms. I think that sounds better than a firework show any day! This is the only picture of this outfit because I drove away with it on the roof of the car-whoops!

Brianna's First Fourth of July!!

Day at the Long Beach Aquarium

So we decided to take Brianna to the Long Beach Aquarium during the 4 days that Greg had off for the 4th of July. It was such a great day! She really loved every minute of it, especially the kids-there were a lot of camp kids-aww takes me back to the YMCA! Anyway, Brianna really loved it, we have year passes so she will get to see her favorite things; the birds, again and again.
Flapping her arms in excitement when we first got there.
Listening to me say-fish.
She really stared at the fish, especially the fish in the tropical area. I think she was trying to understand what they were, it is so amazing to see her reaction to everything. Greg and I both love showing her new things, which is pretty much all the time since she is only 9 months old :)
She loved the Lorikeets. I kept worrying they were going to try and get her Cheerios that were on the stroller tray.
I love this picture!

Brianna's room

So I wanted to share these adorable window curtains that our fabulous friend Katie made for Brianna. They are the perfect addition and we absolutely love how they complete her room. She also has her own line www.kissyouloveyou.com Thank you so much for helping me to make Brianna's room so perfect!

First time at the pool!

This was a great afternoon that we spent at the pool before the June gloom came upon us. I was the photographer on this day, and Greg the daddy swim coach. Brianna loves the water, she really loved to watch the little girls that were swimming around before their lessons started. She got to crawl on the long step into the pool which produced a lot of splashing. Thanks Lisa for the water hat, it worked out perfectly! I am so excited for the many days in the pool that are ahead of us.
The video did not upload at the best quality, but it took soooo long to upload it I am not getting rid of it, so here it is.

Daycare

Ok so these are a bit out of order, because I am too tired to fix it exactly how I want it, but hey at least I am posting a new blog :)Brianna thinking about where she is going to crawl first.
Saying Hi to Brody, who is 3 months older and her favorite baby to crawl after, he is a walker so a bit faster.
She loves the tunnel! In fact the first day that i brought her after she learned to crawl she went straight for it and laughed the whole way through.
Brianna and Brody reliving their time in the immobile baby circle. That is where they put babies that cannot sit yet, I can't believe Brianna started there, so crazt. She has been in daycare for 5 months, wow!
Be careful! Right after this shot she climbed up to the next step and fell over, one of many topples to come.
This is how she showed up to daycare on her last day, she was excited!
This is how she showed up every other day, fast asleep....

So I am trying to get caught up tonight, our lives have been really busy with Brianna and my work schedule. I am now as of today on summer vacation and although I feel a bit sick, I am so happy it is break time! These pics are from Brianna's daycare, I know cheesy mom bringing the camera to daycare, but I just can't resist capturing every moment!

Crawling after Leah

These are from Brianna's first crawling adventures. She loves to get as close to Leah as she can and try to kiss her. She is such a funny girl. Leah is still not quite sure what to make of her.

So lucky to be Brianna's mommy!

This is from my first Mother's Day.  I am so lucky to be Brianna's mom.  This day was so special for me, considering I was beginning to accept that being a mom was not in my future when, hooray, a positive pregnancy test on January 11, 2008 brought me the hope that I had almost lost completely.  I had a relatively easy pregnancy and a wonderful birth-painful, but complication free which is what I hoped for.  Since that amazing day January 11, to now, I love her more and more.  I am keeping a journal about Brianna and it is amazing all the changes in our little family that have occurred in these past 8 and a half months.  I reflect on my life from time to time and still can't believe how blessed I am to have my sweet baby girl.

More fun pics

Brianna loves computer time with her daddy.  She really likes Abby Cadaby from Sesame Street.
This is a new thing this week, holding on to the handle of the car seat or as Greg calls it the roll cage, while we drive.  She usually falls asleep with her hands like that, what is she saying about my driving??
I wanted to try out pigtails on this day.
This is after her first nap of the day, she thought I was so funny with the camera.  As always resting her foot on her knee.
I put this one on there so everyone will know what I am talking about with her peke mo.  This is what she used to sleep in after the swaddle was done.  It has been awesome for our itchy baby.  The last two nights she has been wearing pajamas with out the peke mo and so far so good, I just file her nails down to the little nubs.

Getting caught up, Cinco de Mayo!

Where are you going????
Balancing on her butt, with her legs straight out, so funny how she sits :)
Greg was making her laugh at something here...

I wanted to share these cute pictures of Brianna, she was having a lot of fun this day, it was Cinco de Mayo so maybe she was feeling the fiesta!  I am trying to get her in every outfit she has before she outgrows it, so basically I have been taking a lot of pictures lately.
